The New The JumpCart™ System - The JumpCart™ System, residing in an easy-to-use matchbox-sized scanner, is the physical link between printed catalogs, direct marketing promotions and an eCommerce website. Instead of filling out and faxing order forms or phoning in orders, customers use a key fob-like scanner to scan items in a catalog or direct marketing promotion or to scan UPC/EAN codes from product packages. When all desired items have been scanned, the scanner is plugged into a PC via a serial or USB port, and the scan is transmitted to the JumpCart™ server, where it is translated and formatted before forwarding to the dealers existing eCommerce system.
