The
New The JumpCart System
- The JumpCart System,
residing in an easy-to-use
matchbox-sized scanner, is
the physical link between
printed catalogs, direct marketing
promotions and an eCommerce
website. Instead of filling
out and faxing order forms
or phoning in orders, customers
use a key fob-like scanner
to scan items in a catalog
or direct marketing promotion
or to scan UPC/EAN codes from
product packages. When all
desired items have been scanned,
the scanner is plugged into
a PC via a serial or USB port,
and the scan is transmitted
to the JumpCart server,
where it is translated and
formatted before forwarding
to the dealers existing eCommerce
system. Within seconds, the
customer sees a completed
shopping cart ready for approval.
